1. Medical Relief Camps in Mardan

Mardan Foundation organized a free camp for Diabetic Patients in Hoti Mardan on Tuesday 27 February 2007.Around 60 patients attended the camp despite heavy rain. AIMS (Abaseen Medical Institute of Medical Sciences) which runs Sugar Hospital in Hayat Abad, sent a team from Peshawar.

There will be regular camps in Mardan on a monthly basis .A sugar test (Blood Sugar and HbA1C) will be done and some patients will be given free medicines including Insulin.

2. Pure Water Drinking Facilities

MF with the help of Omair Sana Foundation Karachi Pakistan installed many hand pumps in Mardan.There are some areas in Mardan where people are deprived of the basic pure water drinking facility. Realizing this basic problem MF made a survey in these areas. In 2006 when the military operation was launched against the militants in Bajur thousands of people were displaced from their homes.

These people were brought to a refugee camp in Mardan. Initially there was no pure water drinking facility in the area therefore MF requested many national organizations to install the pure water drinking hand pumps for these people. Omair Sana Foundation Karachi is a well know organization which is working for the general welfare of the people contacted the team of MF.Later on they sent their team to the region and installed fifteen 15 hand pumps for the IDP
